Introducing Milford Chiropractor, Dr. Kerry Goyette

Dr. Kerry Goyette knew from an early age she was destined to be a chiropractor. She always loved and excelled in science and health classes in school. It was in eighth grade that she realized how she was going to use her love for the sciences. During a career day she had the opportunity to spend the day with a chiropractor and knew right then and there that this was what she was going to do.

After graduating Dedham High School she got her bachelor degree in Science at Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, MA. She then enrolled in New York Chiropractic College where she graduated with honors receiving her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1997.

Dr. Goyette has been actively practicing chiropractic since graduating. She has worked as an associate doctor, a vacation coverage doctor, owned her own private practice and most recently has done chiropractic mission work in the Dominican Republic. Her experience in chiropractic has given her the opportunity to care for a diverse group of people from infants, pregnant woman, athletes, geriatrics and everything in between. Her experience has also helped her identify a void in the healthcare market and has led her to create a web-based business called Live By Nature's Design. This is a site to help people take an active role in their health through informative articles and hands on workshops. It also offers safe and convenient alternative products to support the four essentials of optimal health.

Dr. Goyette's mission is to empower people to live to their optimal expression of themselves. She does this by being a partner in your healthcare. We live our life through our nervous system and if there is any interference in this system one cannot live to their fullest potential. Dr. Goyette restores proper nerve flow through a chiropractic adjustment thereby allowing the body to heal, grow and experience life to its fullest potential.

Realizing that health begins in the womb, Dr Goyette has taken a keen interest in pregnant woman and pediatrics. She enrolled in a post graduate program and became certified in pediatrics in 2004 through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. It was during this time that she also learned the Webster Technique and became certified in this Technique. The Webster protocol is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment which can be performed on anyone with a sacral imbalance, however, the founder of the Technique, Dr. Lawrence Webster, began to realize that when pregnant mothers sought care and their baby was in a breech position, the restoration of pelvic neuro-biomechanics with this adjustment also frequently facilitated optimal fetal positioning.

Dr. Goyette realizes that each person is an individual and as such may require different types of adjustments. Though all adjustments serve the same purpose of restoring proper nerve flow, their delivery is different. Dr Goyette utilizes the following techniques: Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator, Flexion Distraction and SOT.

Dr. Goyette has a reputation for being passionate about healing and having an excellent rapport with patients. She has been serving outstanding chiropractic care to patients in Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, the Dominican Republic and now looks forward to serving the community in Milford and surrounding areas.

Dr. Palmer Asks some important questions of interest to Milford residents - Chiropractor Milford Dr. Palmer Asks...

What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Milford chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
